MBA – A Logical Approach Is A Must
A person who wishes to acquire a degree from a reputed educational institution must plan for the same in advance. As I study for my MBA degree, I recognized the effect of different educational institutions and work cultures on different individuals. A person who treated basic education as a formality and focused more on learning things by heart instead of understanding it will obviously find it difficult to manage in a quality educational institution.
As you climb higher, you are expected to understand how things work rather than simply memorizing stuff about the same. Instead of learning the uses of PVC banners by heart, you are expected to use logic to identify all possible uses as and when required. Intellect is not the same as memory. This point becomes painfully clear once you opt for college education.
In my opinion, it is very important to understand stuff when you are trying to become a MBA. Why? Well, you will be in the business of managing a business. You will either do it for your own firm or you will do it for an organization that you are working for. In either case, you will be required to handle contingencies and variations in your daily plan.
The person who not just remembers the plan but also knows how it is formulated will be in a position to make the necessary changes as and when required. On the other hand, a person who is not aware of this approach will have to constantly contact superiors for advice and instructions. That is just not going to work if you want to become a partner in the firm before you turn 30.
